How do I achieve a flawless finish?
Correctly applied makeup can absolutely alter and enhance your appearance. We can show you how to layer products, colour correct, conceal, highlight & contour your features. However, your makeup is usually only as good as the skin that you are putting it on. A balanced diet and lifestyle, drinking plenty of water, protecting your skin from the sun, not smoking and regular exercise all go a long way in achieving a naturally healthy complexion. If it is within your budget to do so, we would highly recommend seeing a
professional skin care expert, to discuss a skincare regime that is right for you.

 

I have sensitive skin.
Skin problems can be caused by sleep deprivation, excess sun exposure, alcohol and stress. Alcohol can sometimes cause allergic reactions, such as hives & rashes. We use top quality skin care products and tools at Pretty Perfect. We can add a protective barrier product by Dermashield, which forms an invisible protective barrier for the skin, before application of makeup if required. Our brushes are washed regularly & we use disposables when necessary. We would recommend a patch test if you are very concerned. Contact us for a no obligation chat.

 

I am thinking of tanning for my wedding day.
An entirely personal choice. Please let us know before you book an appointment for a rehearsal makeup, as it will affect your makeup. We offer sunless tanning, using FAKE BAKE products. We suggest a trial spray tan before any big occasion. It is best to exfoliate and moisturise in advance of your appointment. Please contact us for more details. NB Plan ahead as it takes a while for your tan to develop.

 

Will my makeup last all day?
Yes, correct application and using the right products will ensure that your makeup lasts the duration! Seeing is believing... why not book an appointment for a trial and test some of the Mineralogie products available from our salon.
